DKW F7 Meisterklasse
The model
The small family car of Auto Union AG – the company that can be considered the predecessor of what was to become known as Audi – was manufactured for a brief, two-year long period during which, however, as many as 80,000 cars were produced.
The vehicle
The model in the Museum’s collection was manufactured in 1937 and is on display for the first time.
Salvaging the vehicle
There are only a handful of these iconic models remaining in Europe. The car will be fully restored, allowing it to be included in the new permanent exhibition in a renewed condition, worthy of its status.
